Challenge
The current London Pet Club website is in it’s seed stage and does not convey the fun and vibrant nature of the brand. Its simplistic design does not have a clear call to action, which is essential for business queries. There is a need to enhance the current website to establish trust from customers and to convert leads.
Objective
We need to create a simple yet whimsical website that can serve as a gallery and contact form, sharing all the information pet owners required, stories each photos can tell and the services offered by London Pet Club.
Project scopes
We will be designing and building 5 pages covering the company’s services, pricing, contact forms, resources and blogs.
Target Audience
Pet Owners in/or surrounding London area.
Desired Attributes and Emotions
Friendly, stress-free, Pet owners
Solution
In order to create a fun and engaging website that is easy to navigate, I designed a homepage featuring adorable animals as the header, paw prints as call-to-action buttons, and a warm, earthy colour schemes.
I have designed a separate page dedicated to pricing and clients testimonials, along with an additional page that consolidates the operating areas and includes easy access to contact forms.
Futhermore, I have also created a resource page to organise the many click-through links and enhance user experience, ensuring the website remains clean and tidy.
Artistic Direction

Approach
Creating wireframes as the first step to understand which directions to go, and to clarify any content and structures of the websites.

Typography
Headers: Baloo Bhai 2 64px. Baloo Bhai 2 is a perfect blend of pointy paws in a coat of fur, Baloo is an affable display typeface by Ek Type. Available in nine Indian scripts plus Arabic along with a Latin counterpart, the family is Unicode compliant and libre licensed.Baloo 2 is an extension of the earlier Baloo project. The new Baloo 2 includes additional glyphs, engineering improvements, and has been extended to five weights, ranging from the light footed Regular to the affable ExtraBold. The lighter weights retain Baloo’s characteristic bounce, but they do so slightly, infusing life into each word. This allows the new family to freely fraternise with texts of all sizes and temperaments — be it short bursts or copious reams, demanding headlines or whispering bylines. Carefree yet confident, sprightly yet versatile, the renewed family of Baloo promises to bring warmth to every project.
I selected the Baloo Bhai font for this project because of its unique blend of carefree charm and confidence. The font’s warm, rounded letters evoke a sense of friendliness and approachability, making it both inviting and engaging. Its versatility ensures that it effectively communicates London Pet Club's brand values.
Body: Proxima Nova 20px. Proxima nova is a typeface idea Mark Simonson has been working on in various forms since 1981. Originally called Zanzibar, the font was a hybrid; a face combining modern,even-width proportions with a somewhat geometric appearance. The font was re-released in 2005 as Proxima Nova, a family of 42 fonts- seven weights and three widths with matching italics. It featured advanced typographic features like small caps, different figure styles, fractions, and alternate characters, enough to take on the most demanding typographic applications.
